Director of Learning & Development

Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG) is seeking a Director of Learning & Development to develop and drive training initiatives for compliance and best-in-class training systems. This role will lead a team to design and deliver impactful training across the company, ensuring high-quality training for new restaurant openings and ongoing operations.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and continuously improve current training initiatives, incorporating best practices for results-driven learning
Lead new restaurant openings, to ensure detailed business plan for continued success after opening and the highest quality of training is executed
Manages program development & implementation strategies
Manages compliance training and audits to ensure compliance with Anti-Harassment, Food Safety certifications, ServSafe Alcohol certifications etc
Establish protocol for certifying & auditing remote training & certification
Ensure all training materials are kept current and up to date to ensure compliance with government standards
Execute all stages with new restaurant openings and hold priority review meetings with internal and external partners keeping them on task and motivated
Create and present projected plan to include detailed milestones with associated critical paths, staffing compendiums, and budgets for new restaurant opening projects
Collaborate extensively with other teams to ensure training aligns and exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the Company
Create engaging training materials and resources, including e-learning modules, workshops, manuals, and interactive sessions
Oversees orientation sessions and ensures on-the-job training is taking place for all new hires
Partner directly with operational leaders and HR to align talent and business needs
Assist in recruiting when necessary to fill vacant positions, conducts interviews as need and makes recommendations to hire
Oversee the training and development budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
Perform other duties/ tasks/ projects as assigned
