Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI or other BI tools
Proactively identify, extract, clean, and transform complex datasets to support enterprise reporting and analysis
Conduct advanced data exploration to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that influence business decisions
Present insights, recommendations, and narratives to leadership teams and internal stakeholders in clear, compelling ways
Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned clients or product areas, interpreting data in context and advising on data-driven opportunities
Develop, maintain, and champion data definitions, business rules, and data quality standards across the organization
Lead data gathering, preparation, and documentation for research projects and strategic initiatives
Identify and drive both process and data improvements, proposing scalable solutions and collaborating cross-functionally to implement them
Partner with account managers, development, product, and management teams to strengthen data tracking and data lifecycle practices
Support the development and implementation of data governance policies, advising on best practices and improving data stewardship
Lead the analysis and preparation of Kuder’s Local Needs Assessment standard report(s), ensuring high-quality, accurate, and meaningful results
Provide mentorship, guidance, and informal leadership to junior analysts and team members
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required (MIS, CS, Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline)
6+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence roles
3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering advanced reports, dashboards, and analytical products
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated success presenting to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and quantitative skills required
Advanced SQL proficiency with ability to build optimized queries and perform complex data manipulations
High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
Comfortable with ambiguity and able to lead projects with minimal direction; proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement
Experience working in small teams where flexibility, adaptability, and a broad skill set are essential
Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders
Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, systems, and processes
Strong commitment to continuous learning and applying new technologies and techniques to improve data practices
Preferred
Experience with Power BI strongly preferred
