WES is seeking a Civil CAD Designer / Technician to assist engineers in the production of project drawings for civil plan sets related to commercial site development and public roadway projects, utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D.

Responsibilities
Utilize AutoCAD Civil3D to Assist Engineers in the Production of Project Drawings
Design and Drafting of Engineering Plans to Include Alignments, Profiles, Cross Sections, Utilities, and General Plan Drawings
Completing Detailed Drawings From Rough Sketches and/or Verbal Instructions or Notes with Limited Direction from Other Staff
Revising Drawings and Completing Standard Calculations Used in the Completion of Engineering Plans
Help Create/Compile Project Documentation Using Standard Office Software
Perform Internet-Based or In-Person Project Research
Attend Project Meetings/Field Visits and Communicate with Project Stakeholders as Appropriate
Perform Other Departmental Tasks as Directed by Supervising Engineer
Conduct QC Checks of Work Produced by Self and by Peers
Ensure Schedules & Productivity Objectives for Preparation of Deliverables are Reached
Qualification
Required
1-3+ Years of Industry-Related Work Experience in a Professional Capacity
Strong Proficiency in Civil 3D
Professional Written & Verbal Communication Skills, Including the Ability to Proactively Coordinate with Outside Parties
Ability to Identify & Troubleshoot Issues & Problem Solve Accordingly
Drive to Meet or Exceed Aggressive Deadlines While Maintaining Teamwork & Collaboration with Clients, Team Members & Sub-Consultants
Preferred
Associates/Bachelor's Degree in Related Discipline/and or Equivalent Experience, Not Required, But Encouraged
Ability in Microstation, ORD or Other Industry Software a Plus
