They are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage multi-bank reconciliations, journal entries, and assist in various accounting functions including audits and compliance with GAAP.

Responsibilities
Multi Bank reconciliations, credit cards, and daily cash receipts and deposits
Clear knowledge of General Ledger accounts and General Ledger Analysis
Preparing journal entries
Assisting Controller in the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting functions
Assisting in annual audits
Advanced Excel skills is a must as we have many detailed excel spreadsheets
Help maintain and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Participate in identifying inefficiencies and proposing accounting process improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree is required or Associate Degree with work experience
Strong accounting knowledge
2-5 years in handling the accounting duties described above
Proficiency in MS Excel
Ability to complete and enter non-routine and complex journal entries without assistance
Proficiency in accounting specific software such as QuickBooks
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desire to develop unique business solutions in a team-based environment
Excellent time management skills
The ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
The ability to learn new programs
Successful applicant must be detailed, dependable, and punctual
Proactively investigates discrepancies or unusual trends in financial data
