This role plays an important part in supporting daily food production, organization, and seasonal preparations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities
Assist the server staff with dining room preparation
Creating and building strong relationships with guests, staff, and management
Complete all side work, polish and prepare resets
Assist Host with greeting and seating guests
During Service Assistant Servers must maintain a clean, organized dining room and prep area
Our staff should be constantly scanning the dining room for work that needs to be done
Assistant servers must refill water, run food, and clear all courses as necessary
Commit to continual visual inspections of the restaurant (including facility, equipment, and cleanliness)
It is essential that this person can effectively communicate with all other staff members
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

Strong organizational skills required
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
Work in a face paced environment
Able to perform various activities such as constant standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
Personable disposition which is maintained in pressure situations required
Preferred
At least one year of bussing experience in an up-scale restaurant preferred
Basic knowledge of fine dining table set up helpful
