Senior Software Engineering Manager, Patient & Provider Experiences

Responsibilities
Lead a team to deliver complex, open-ended projects aligned with business goals
Define and communicate a clear technical vision that supports organizational strategy

Set and manage objectives across teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery
Guide system architecture and design across boundaries, offering actionable feedback on engineering decisions
Introduce and optimize processes to improve team efficiency and outcomes

Resolve misalignments and conflicting goals with clarity and diplomacy
Influence outcomes across the organization without relying on formal authority

Qualification
Required
Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects with measurable business impact
Strong understanding of system design, architecture, and cross-functional trade-offs
Experience driving organizational change and influencing outcomes across teams
Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills
Passion for mentoring, team development, and building inclusive engineering cultures
Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments with a high degree of autonomy
Commitment to operational excellence through improved monitoring, observability, and tooling
Technical acumen to create clarity around architectural and strategic decisions
Experience leading fully remote, geographically distributed engineering teams
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
Requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience
Preferred
Familiarity with the healthcare industry or other highly regulated industries
Proficiency in one or more of: Python, TypeScript, Kotlin, or similar languages
Familiarity with web technologies and architectures
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka, containerization, and Terraform is a strong plus
