Responsibilities
Analyze inventory of existing Talend Studio jobs
Collaborate with client stakeholders to elicit undocumented logic and clarify business rules
Produce structured documentation to support migration planning
Serve as a Talend subject-matter expert for internal delivery teams
Provide guidance on mapping Talend patterns to modern ETL platforms
Assist with design and implementation in the selected target tool
Review migrated pipelines for functional equivalence
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in ETL / data integration development
Hands-on experience with Talend Studio
Strong SQL skills
Experience documenting existing ETL systems
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to work in a hybrid onsite/remote model in the Greater Buffalo, NY area
Preferred
Migrating ETL workloads
Modern integration platforms (ADF, Glue, Informatica, dbt, Airflow, etc.)
Working in data environments for enterprises in regulated industries
