Senior Network Engineer (RDMA)
Vero is an exciting AI infrastructure startup working closely with NVIDIA and other organizations to shape the future of datacentres. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will operate and scale high-performance datacenter networks that support large-scale GPU and distributed compute environments.

Responsibilities
Configure and operate high-performance switches, validate links, and maintain fabric health across multi-rack GPU clusters
Support RDMA-enabled network deployments and assist with tuning and optimization of communication paths
Monitor network telemetry and health signals, investigating anomalies and escalating fabric-level issues when required
Contribute to structured multi-rack expansion efforts, including optical mapping, cabling validation, and deployment workflows
Respond to network alerts, perform diagnostics and troubleshooting, and help drive continuous improvements in network reliability and performance
Qualification
Required
Strong datacentre networking fundamentals, including switching, link behaviour, optics, and cabling
Experience with Arista and Cisco switches, covering configuration and basic troubleshooting
Familiarity with RDMA networking concepts, including RoCEv2 or InfiniBand, for GPU and AI workloads
Exposure to fabric monitoring and telemetry tools such as UFM, NetQ, and link-level health checks
Ability to support large-scale GPU network deployments, including top-of-rack switching and multi-rack fabrics
