Alternate Assessment Psychometrician - Education Research Consultant 15B
NEOGOV is part of the State of Michigan and is seeking an Alternate Assessment Psychometrician to perform specialized assignments for statewide Michigan’s alternate assessments. This role involves developing and implementing psychometric procedures and research to ensure high measurement quality for the state’s assessments and accountability projects.

Responsibilities
Developing, administering, and reporting on assessment programs
Jointly developing and maintaining content standards with OES
Electronically housing the libraries of content standards developed jointly with OES
Developing achievement standards (i.e., proficiency standards or cut scores) on the assessment programs for which it is responsible
Operating the Formative Assessment for Michigan Educators (FAME)
Program and data management of all OEAA projects
Management for all the OEAA systems (Secure Site, Item Bank System, etc.)
Responding to assessment and accountability reports and state analysis requests
Qualification
Required
Doctorate degree (PhD/EdD) with a major in school psychology; educational psychology, educational testing, measurement or assessment; psychometrics; inferential statistics; quantitative program evaluation; quantitative psychology; or organizational/industrial psychology, with 30 semester post-bachelor's degree credits in quantitative research and analysis methodologies
Four years of post-master's consultative or administrative experience in educational research, empirical research, psychometric analysis, or school/educational testing programs for a national or statewide testing program
