Mid, Senior LevelMCubeSoft is seeking an experienced Load Testing & OpenSearch Data Migration Engineer to support a long-term contract engagement focused on large-scale performance benchmarking and data migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing and building load-testing frameworks, executing performance and scalability testing, and migrating or integrating data with OpenSearch and other big-data platforms.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain load-testing and performance benchmarking frameworks for large-scale systems
Execute performance, stress, endurance, and scalability testing for distributed applications
Lead or support data migration efforts to OpenSearch, including indexing strategies, data validation, and performance tuning
Work with big-data systems leveraging Lucene, Solr, or similar search technologies
Analyze performance bottlenecks and provide tuning recommendations across application, database, and infrastructure layers
Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and data teams to ensure system reliability and scalability
Develop automation for performance testing and reporting
Document test strategies, migration plans, and performance results
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience in load testing and performance engineering
Experience building custom performance or benchmarking frameworks
Proven experience with OpenSearch data migration and indexing
Solid background with Lucene, Solr, or related search/big-data platforms
Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and high-volume data pipelines
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, or similar)
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with CI/CD integration for performance testing
Knowledge of containerized and microservices architectures
