Responsibilities
Full‑scope accounting leadership: GL, AP/AR, job cost, month-end close, and financial reporting
Construction & development financials: WIP, budgets, cost-to-complete, lender draws
Real estate & property management accounting: rent rolls, CAM, lease admin, portfolio reporting
HR & payroll oversight: ADP processing, compliance, onboarding, benefits coordination
Systems optimization: elevate how we use Yardi, ADP, and internal workflows
Team leadership: mentor a small, sharp, collaborative accounting group
Compliance & audit: GAAP, internal controls, annual audits, tax coordination
Qualification
Required
CPA required
15+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong background in construction, development, and property management
Expert-level Yardi and ADP experience
A builder's mindset - you love improving processes, tightening controls, and elevating reporting
Comfort in a small-team environment where your impact is visible and valued
Preferred
5 years of management preferred
