Responsibilities
Supports engineers and scientists by creating 3D models, drawings, and prototypes to improve product and process performance
Builds, assembles, and tests prototype equipment and helps refine manufacturing designs
Work safely in lab and manufacturing environments
Identify and correct hazards; Follow safety procedures
Create CAD models and drawings for concepts and equipment
Generate files for 3D-printed prototypes
Assist with prototype builds, test stands, and testing activities
Contribute to Near Miss/hazard tracking
Participate in safety initiatives
Complete non-routine task assessments
Produce accurate, high-quality prototypes and test results
Qualification
Required
Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
CAD experience required (Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks)
Experience assembling drawings for production
Preferred
Project/task management experience preferred
Manufacturing or lab experience preferred
