Responsibilities
Operate reach and sit-down forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials and products
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards
Move pallets, crates, and materials to designated areas, maintaining an organized warehouse layout
Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies to ensure accuracy
Assist with receiving, storing, picking, and staging of goods according to company procedures
Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track product movement and maintain real-time data accuracy
Maintain inventory locations and label products clearly to improve efficiency and reduce errors
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and inventory control team to improve stock accuracy and streamline workflow
Follow all safety protocols, including proper forklift operation, PPE use, and warehouse traffic rules
Assist in shipping and receiving functions as needed, including verifying product counts and documentation
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions to ensure a safe working environment
Qualification
Required
Proven experience operating reach and sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting
Strong understanding of inventory control practices and warehouse organization
Ability to read and interpret inventory reports, shipping documents, and work orders
Familiarity with RF scanners, ERP systems, or other inventory software
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing
Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures and environments
