Calico Wallpaper is seeking an East Coast Account Executive to manage sales activities within their designated territory. This role focuses on client acquisition, relationship management, and driving revenue growth through exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
Represent Calico Wallpaper with professionalism, enthusiasm, and deep product knowledge
Promote and expand business within the designated territory through consistent client engagement and relationship-building
Identify potential clients and key decision-makers within target markets
Strategically and actively seek new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and participation in industry events
Develop and deliver customized product presentations to prospective clients
Schedule and conduct presentations for new collections and existing products, showcasing product features, benefits, and applications
Tailor presentations to meet specific client needs and preferences
Follow up promptly on all client and project leads
Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales effectively
Convert quotes into orders by addressing client concerns and objections
Conduct regular market research to understand industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs
Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the territory
Manage new and existing business to achieve and exceed sales goals
Develop and implement strategies to maximize territory potential
Ensure Calico’s presence in client libraries is current with all product offerings and marketing materials
Provide clients with necessary sales collateral, including brochures, samples, and digital resources
Process and track sample orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction
Deliver a best-in-class experience to clients through proactive communication and reliable support
Respond promptly to inquiries, providing thoughtful and effective solutions
Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and build long-term loyalty
Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies with the broader team
Submit weekly call reports detailing client interactions, sales activities, and outcomes
Present sales recaps and territory updates during meetings with management
Represent Calico Wallpaper at industry trade shows, regional design events, and networking functions
Prepare and support event setup, including displays, product presentations, and client engagement
Generate leads and build brand awareness through professional event participation
Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers, designers, architects, and other potential clients
Attend industry events to expand your professional network and identify new business opportunities
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of Sales and/or Interior Design experience (wallcovering or textile experience preferred)
Upbeat, energetic, and a can-do mindset
Ability to work from a home office and showroom; hybrid work model
Collaborative and communicative within a team environment
Exceptional organization and attention to detail
Ability to analyze market data and identify growth opportunities
Demonstrated track record of providing fast response times and exceptional client service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, Slack, and experienced with ERP/CRM systems
Some travel required for regular client visits, trade shows, and company events
Reliable transportation and internet required
