New Grad, Entry LevelBureau Veritas Group is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to perform data entry on received samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The role involves high-volume data entry, troubleshooting incoming samples, and assisting customers with discrepancies.

Responsibilities
Perform high volume of data entry work for received samples
Accurate input and updating of existing records, within the LIMS system
Troubleshooting problems with incoming samples
Work with customers to resolve discrepancies/issues
Assist answering telephones and routing calls
Filing and sorting of documents
Assist in sample receiving area as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees
Ability to do some Basic Math
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear
The employee frequently is required to walk
The employee can be required to sit for extended periods of time; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and with explosive material and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risks of electrical shock
The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of radiation
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/low
