Responsibilities
Manage cases from inception through trial or resolution
Draft and argue motions (including dispositive motions)
Conduct and defend depositions
Prepare discovery, including written discovery and responses
Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
Assist with trial preparation and, as appropriate, trial proceedings
Contribute strategically to case development and litigation planning
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school and active member in good standing with the California State Bar
5 years of general litigation experience
Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience
Demonstrated experience in business, construction, and/or real estate litigation
Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters independently
Professional judgment and client-focused mindset
Preferred
First-chair deposition experience
Trial or arbitration experience
