Responsibilities
Support and partner with leadership on technical accounting and external reporting matters
Drive quarterly-end close with a strong emphasis on technical accounting accuracy
Lead application and interpretation of complex accounting standards
Prepare and review technical accounting memos and position papers
Assist with SEC filings and disclosure support (10-Qs, 10-Ks, footnotes, tie-outs)
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and external auditors
Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and public-company reporting requirements
Qualification
Required
Active CPA required
Big 4 public accounting background required (audit or technical accounting focus)
Direct experience with technical accounting and SEC reporting required
Strong working knowledge of lease accounting, revenue accounting, and public-company close processes
Experience operating in a publicly traded or public-company-ready environment
