Responsibilities
Analyze and develop programming specifications; review and refine prepared specifications
Design detailed system solutions and collaborate with the project team on approved designs
Develop new application code and modify existing code as needed
Create and coordinate technical implementation plans
Conduct unit testing and support broader system testing efforts
Prepare, maintain, and update documentation throughout the development lifecycle
Execute implementation activities and ensure smooth deployment
Provide ongoing production support, including on-call rotations and technical assistance to end users and IT staff
Collaborate with the service manager to review schedules, objectives, and priorities
Recommend improvements to systems, processes, and procedures
Assist with routine departmental tasks as required
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience
Development experience in PeopleSoft Financials modules – AP, GL, AR, and Purchasing
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
Solid knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and XML/XSLT
Experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases
Expertise in writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Willingness to provide after-hours application support as needed
Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving medium- to high-complexity technical issues
Familiarity with file handling tools and techniques
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
