Family Resource Coordinator

Catholic Charities Diocese of Fresno is a community benefit organization serving families in need within the Diocese of Fresno. The Family Resource Coordinator is responsible for supporting various programs and services, ensuring compliance with the agency's strategic direction, and providing leadership and guidance within the Family Resource Center.

Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Become fully versed in all program goals, objectives, activities, expected outcomes, and the Integrated Work Plan
Facilitates client’s self-assessment of current needs and strengths
Develops an individualized budget and Client Services Plan based on client driven goals
Assists clients in determining eligibility and links/empowers clients to access appropriate community-based programs and/or events
Schedules and supports Rural Outreach Program
Communicates with parish priests, administrators, and volunteers in order to execute food distributions
Coordinates all outreach and resource events, including all promotional material
Vetting of clients requesting rental, mortgage and utility assistance
Collects and inputs client data and provides program reports as needed
Provides follow-up to track and support client progress on identified goals
Engaged and in communication with relevant community-based meetings, trainings and events
Establishes and maintains personal relationships with staff at other social service programs to enhance referral outcomes and/or improve collaborative services
Identifies program needs and participates in completing goals outlined in the Strategic Plan
Seeks opportunities for program expansion through funding and/or partnerships

Required

Associates degree or equivalent
Two years' experience in a non-profit setting with families from diverse backgrounds
Experience in Microsoft Office or similar software
Possession of a valid California Class “C” Driver License
Knowledge of community resources and support programs
Build excellent working relationships among all departments at Catholic Charities
Remain knowledgeable about the services provided by Catholic Charities
Basic Math Skills
Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and internet tools
Work under general supervision and guidance from the Site Director
Ability to provide guidance and understanding to clients in crisis
Professional appearance and communication style
Implement the mission, vision and values of Catholic Charities by setting the standard for customer service
Consistently deliver high quality services that are aligned with the agency's mission and values

Preferred

Bilingual proficient in Spanish and English
