Responsibilities

Participates in a learning experience designed to develop confidence and competence in clinical skills
Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
Performs tasks of direct and indirect patient care and supports the activities of the department
Utilizes appropriate population-specific patient care protocols and policies related to the physical and psychological needs of all ages of patients

Enrolled in RN programClinical experienceLicensed clinical practicePatient careCommunication skills

Required

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited RN program (associate or bachelor degree) and have participated in an academic clinical experience
Must be enrolled in a board of licensed clinical practice approved internship course. This does not apply to internships held in the state of South Dakota
