Responsibilities

Participate in an analog/digital team to help define the signals between analog and digital interfaces
Assist the team in design and hands-on testing of microwave components, circuit boards and systems plus providing technical support to production activities
Be a part of a multidisciplinary engineering team throughout the project lifecycle
Receive Mentoring from experienced engineering staff who will guide you in your engineering tasks
Participate on a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals
Some travel to integration sites, plus customer and subcontractor facilities, may be required

Required

Masters degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
Experience with design, development, and production of electrical equipment and/or hardware
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Preferred

Major: Electrical Engineering or Physics
Experience with RF/microwave and antennas including experience typically acquired through attainment of a university degree or possession of an amateur radio license
Previous internship experience in the RF/microwave discipline
Hands-on experience with microwave testing techniques, including using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs)
Familiarity with industry standard RF/microwave circuit design software and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layout
