Sales Operations Assistant

They are seeking a highly motivated Sales Operations Assistant to provide customer service and sales support, acting as a liaison between the company and business accounts.

Retail

Responsibilities

Process customer orders received via phone, website, electronic data interchange (EDI) or other PO forms
Review product availability and orders in the company ERP system (Microsoft D365 platform)
Create customer accounts for new customers in Microsoft D365 and daily entry of customer orders
Follow up on customer inquiries and update customer records as necessary
Answer phones/email and direct and/or respond to customer inquiries accordingly
Assist in documenting and handling customer complaints
Communicate with off-site warehouse regarding ship dates, freight charges, follow-up and track orders
Manage co-op advertising program for assigned customers. Confirm proof of performance with sales & marketing department, and issue credit/debit memos accordingly
Collaborate with corporate Accounts Receivable and Import departments to solve invoice inquiries
Perform general clerical and support duties to include but not limited to photocopying, scanning, filing, ordering office supplies/equipment and responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail and shipments
Performs miscellaneous other assignments with a high degree of urgency and flexibility
Consistent and reliable attendance is a critical expectation for success in this role

Preferred

Associate or bachelor's degree in business, communications, finance or related field
2+ years of customer service or account coordinator experience
Experience working with ERP systems/Microsoft D365
Proficient with Microsoft office programs including Excel
Ability to multi-task, organize, attention to detail and prioritize work
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with team members, customers, vendors
Ability to collaborate and function in a team environment
