Responsibilities
Working with stakeholders across the firm to further develop and strengthen the operational risk framework and its individual components
Contributing to the advancement and/or execution of operational risk programs and practices
Help develop and institutionalize governance processes and enhance controls, driving a culture of risk management and mitigation
Collaborating with Engineering teams on the strategy and development of key operational risk management platforms
Providing clear and concise verbal and written recommendations and guidance to internal colleagues on matters of operational risk management
Remaining current on business drivers, regulatory and industry changes impacting the business, identifying new or emerging risks to which the firm is exposed
Provide support to regulatory deliverables and overall engagement relating to operational risk
Qualification
Required
3-7 years of prior work experience in relevant field, Operational Risk Management and/or Risk and Control Assessments
Technical knowledge in product management, and quantitative aptitude to be able to understand and develop quantification of operational risks
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, including program management or change management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail
Self-starter, continuous learner, proactive, independent, proven delivery track record
Team oriented, inquisitive and enthusiastic
Proficient to advanced skills with MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Alteryx
Preferred
Strong interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills are required for this role
Project or other change management skills are also recommended
