Payroll Associate

Responsibilities
Execute day-to-day payroll processing for weekly, bi-weekly, off-cycle, and special pay cycles across all WC U.S. entities, covering multiple states and jurisdictions
Support payroll operations by ensuring the integrity of WC’s payroll systems and processes, and the timely and accurate delivery of payments to all associates
Proactively communicate any payroll issues or concerns to Payroll leadership
Conduct regular audits to verify payroll data accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
Investigate and resolve payroll processing errors or inconsistencies
Upload garnishments, additional payment files and off-cycle check requests to third party vendor for processing
Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and other payroll-related matters in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with payroll team members to ensure consistent communication and coordination across all payroll-related emails and phone calls
Maintain strict confidentiality and security of sensitive payroll data and employee information
Qualification
Required
Collect special payroll input data and compile spreadsheets for entry into the Workday payroll module
Respond to payroll inquiries from the payroll email box and the payroll phone line
Review payroll audit reports and prepare adjustments
Execute day-to-day payroll processing for weekly, bi-weekly, off-cycle, and special pay cycles across all WC U.S. entities, covering multiple states and jurisdictions
Support payroll operations by ensuring the integrity of WC's payroll systems and processes, and the timely and accurate delivery of payments to all associates

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred
Generally, 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility
Preferred
This is a part-time position for 12 hours per week assisting the payroll team with W2 copy requests during tax season. (approximately 3 months)
Requires 3 days in our Doraville Field Support Center, 4 hours each day
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel and Outlook
Workday experience is a plus but not required
Experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred
