Responsibilities
Lead the continued implementation and finalization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, supporting advanced configuration and usability improvements
Drive technical solution design and build, focusing on enhancing Member Services and IT user experiences and supporting process documentation and organizational adoption
Configure and refine CRM entities, forms, dashboards, and views; design and implement business rules, workflows, and automations tailored to business requirements
Develop advanced, export-friendly reporting capabilities, including branded and cross-entity reports with runtime data selection
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish governance best practices, environment strategy, and solution layering for long-term scalability and maintainability
Create and maintain dataverse tables, define new record types, and establish/refine relationships to support business processes
Analyze current system configurations, performance, data relationships, and propose recommendations for increased operational efficiency and feature enhancement
Integrate Dynamics 365 with multiple external applications and data environments using APIs/connectors (e.g., Drupal, Hivebrite, Docebo, CVENT, or similar systems)
Develop custom workflows for field updates, automated communications, and approval processes aligned with user and organizational needs
Enhance customer insights functionality, such as engagement scoring algorithms and analytics
Lead functional testing, including creation of user acceptance testing (UAT) assets such as test plans, scripts, and scenarios, and coordinate user and stakeholder sign-off
Proactively participate in fact-finding, process review, and stakeholder meetings to surface opportunities for system innovation, modernization, and streamlined operations
Prepare and deliver weekly status updates on completed work, open items, risks, and recommendations; help prioritize future enhancements through partnership with leadership
Provide continuous training and knowledge transfer to both technical and non-technical users to support adoption and self-sufficiency within the organization
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7 years of hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, including solution architecture and configuration
Expertise in designing, implementing, and refining advanced business process flows, automations, and complex workflows within Dynamics 365
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform technologies, specifically Power Apps (Canvas/Model-Driven), Power BI, and Power Automate for workflow creation and reporting
Strong experience configuring integrations using APIs and connectors; prior work with platforms such as Drupal, Hivebrite, Docebo, CVENT (or comparable systems) is highly desirable
JavaScript development skills for custom Dynamics 365 components and UX enhancement
In-depth knowledge of Dataverse, including writing queries (FetchXML), managing and optimizing table/field relationships, and applying solution layering strategies
Proven ability to evaluate business processes, identify areas for CRM-driven improvement, and translate organizational needs into technical solutions
Keen problem-solving mindset and intellectual curiosity to explore underlying business needs and design innovative solutions
Strong communication skills, with a track record of engaging both technical partners and non-technical end-users for training, guidance, and adoption support
Experience authoring SOPs, user guides, training materials, and documentation for best practices and solution deployment
Demonstrated capacity to function as both technical SME and consulting lead, driving project direction, managing risk, and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes
Passion for learning about new organizational contexts and connecting business challenges to effective, value-added CRM capabilities
Background in developing future-state process maps, system adoption roadmaps, and CRM solution blueprints
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or CRM solution architecture are a plus
Previous consulting experience and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional, and change-oriented environments will be highly regarded
