Community Relations Specialist

UNIFI Autism Care is dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy that supports children with autism and their families. The Community Relations Specialist builds and maintains relationships with healthcare referral sources and community partners to support the growth of UNIFI's autism therapy centers.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain relationships with patient referral sources, including healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
Develop and execute account plans to support the growth and retention of key accounts by increasing referrals
Serve as the main contact for referral sources, responding to inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely manner
Work collaboratively with internal teams, such as clinical staff, patient engagement, and marketing, to facilitate the provision of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy services to referred clients
Track and review account performance and referral patterns to identify areas for improvement and implement relevant initiatives
Perform regular account evaluations and prepare reports on account status, referral activity, and potential for growth
Monitor industry trends, competitors, and the needs of referral sources to identify new opportunities
Participate in industry events, conferences, and outreach activities to promote Applied Behavior Analysis therapy services and expand referral networks
Adhere to healthcare regulations and privacy requirements, including HIPAA

In-depth knowledge of key account management in healthcare and Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for children with autism
Strong grasp of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy services and company value proposition
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for presenting and persuading healthcare and building relationships with healthcare stakeholders
Skilled at building relationships with accounts and internal stakeholders
Proficient in data analysis for identifying referral trends and making decisions
Strong problem-solving and adaptability in healthcare settings
Effective organizational and time management skills
Strategic thinker able to develop long-term account plans
Proficient with CRM, Microsoft Office, and industry tools
Ability to maintain professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations
Minimum of one year experience in a similar role with an ABA therapy or autism care provider
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field
