Responsibilities
Creates templates and manages budget process for entire company
Develops and implements quarterly PL and cash forecasting models
Develop financial models and analysis to support profitability and identify areas for improvement in all areas of business
Analyze complex financial information to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
Implement and work with daily/weekly/monthly financial dashboard reporting
Utilize accounting system for data mining and construction of business models
Prepare cost/benefit analysis on proposed capital projects and strategic investments
Prepare financial presentations for senior management team
Prepare ad hoc operational and financial analysis and special projects
Serve as the liaison with directors and the Finance & Accounting group to ensure accurate financial reporting
Directs preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projections, and business forecasts
Other duties as assigned including month end accounting work
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required in Finance or Accounting or other related business degree
Requires college level knowledge of financial terms, concepts, and accounting principles
NetSuite experience required
3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, retail experience a plus
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret financial information, as well as the ability to explain and report data in verbal and written communication
Strong analytical skills are critical
Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization
Ability to work with large and complex data sets, advanced MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills
