Responsibilities
Print pick tickets, pull, scan, and package stock to prepare outbound domestic and international shipments
Freight rate according to shipping method, i.e. Parcel, LTL carrier, etc
Contact carrier representative to arrange logistics for incoming/outgoing freight
Prepare a bill of lading as appropriate for shipment type
Assist with cycle counts and other inventory control activities
Assist with inventory management of shipping supplies, factory supplies or other supplies needed
Perform PO receipts
Load and unload trucks
Communicate effectively all issues and priorities to team members and supervisor verbally and/or via e-mail
Operate tow motor, electric pallet jack, hand bander, wrapper, manual pallet jack, and other equipment in a safe manner
Comply with all safety, security, and shop practice requirements
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and warehouse organization including 5S standards
Maintain a high level of transfer integrity for all system transactions
Prepare outgoing shipments, including sterile and non-sterile products
Cross-train to back up other warehouse duties as needed
Train new team members to work instruction standards
Participate in a plant improvement team such as the Safety Committee, JSA Team, etc
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of shipping and receiving or warehouse experience
Preferred
Forklift and powered pallet jack experience considered a plus
