Regional Sales Manager
YER USA is a global leader in advanced sheet metal fabrication machines and technologies, known for its innovation and precision engineering. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to manage direct sales in California and Arizona, focusing on increasing sales revenue and maintaining strong customer relationships through proactive outreach and strategic proposal management.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive territory mapping to identify high-potential customers and underpenetrated segments
Proactively generate new leads through outreach, networking, and onsite visits, and build a robust pipeline spanning OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and job shops
Prepare, present, and manage high-quality technical and commercial proposals, ensuring that equipment options, duties, pricing, and terms are correct and competitively positioned
Drive the negotiation process with decision-makers, guiding opportunities through each stage of the sales cycle
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and deal visibility for internal stakeholders
Work closely with 2D Laser & Systems Specialists and Sales Operations to validate all technical options, confirm feasibility, assess risks, and ensure commercial terms are fully accurate and aligned with customer requirements
Qualification
Required
3–7+ years of experience selling industrial machinery or fabrication equipment (sheet metal) or adjacent technologies (tooling, coil-line, complementary machines) to similar customers
Proven track record as a new-business hunter and value-seller with complex or automated solutions
Strong technical fluency in sheet-metal fabrication processes (laser cutting, punching, forming, panel bending) and confidence in discussing automation and software-driven ROI
Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), opportunity planning, and long-cycle enterprise sales
Excellent communication skills across all levels, from the shop floor to executive leadership
Preferred
Background as an Applications Engineer or Service Coordinator transitioning into sales, or prior success selling tooling, coil-line, or complementary equipment
Experience closing integrated systems in the $3M–$10M+ range
An existing network within CA/AZ HVAC, data centers, appliances, elevators, and OEM/Tier-1/job-shop markets
