Responsibilities

Coordinate recruitment and admissions activities for all master’s programs within the G. Brint Ryan College of Business, including event planning, assisting with tabling events, and attending virtual and in-person events to promote programs
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the master’s admissions process to effectively assist applicants and prospective students. Ensure familiarity with processing admission documents to expedite application review and decision-making
Provide support to the Director and Assistant Director of Recruitment on assigned tasks, duties, and special projects
Assist with purchasing processes, manage university purchasing cards, and support budget tracking and reconciliation
Implement proactive retention strategies for newly admitted students to ensure successful matriculation and engagement
Develop and execute initiatives that foster student engagement and enhance the overall experience of master’s students

Required

Bachelor's degree in related field and three years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Strong presentation and public speaking skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to use a variety of complex computer applications
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to work independently and lead project teams effectively
Considerable knowledge of University policies and procedures related to functional area (or ability to rapidly assimilate)

Preferred

Master's degree in business, higher education administration, or a related field
Experience in student affairs, academic advising, recruitment, admissions, or related areas, preferably with graduate students
Strong understanding of graduate student success, retention, and engagement strategies
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
