The role focuses on content creation for Atlanta United 2 and assisting the video team with the 1st team, Atlanta United, involving various aspects of video production and editing.

Responsibilities
Act as an editing or production assistant for a full range of video projects
Assisting the video team in leading projects
Filming training sessions and media availability
Assist in creatively ideating and editing video content for Apple TV and weekly shows
Attend Atlanta United 2 matches and training sessions to capture content as necessary
Assist video team with Atlanta United matches (1st team)
Optimizing edited video content for platform specific distribution
Help with transcription or fact checking on projects as needed
Aid in the operation of studio or field production equipment as necessary
Able and willing to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Qualification
Required
At least two years of experience in a professional digital/video production role
Expertise with Adobe Creative programs, specifically Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
Expertise with working on a range of video content, including studio segments, explainers, and features
Experience with preproduction, equipment, coordinating, lighting, shooting, and editing
An understanding of the current digital video landscape and the role video plays on each, including a knowledge of how to optimize for specific platforms
Understanding of news and story lines, with sound journalistic ethics and judgment
Knowledge of and a passion for soccer and MLS
Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive under pressure
