Responsibilities
Supports the activities of the Network Adequacy Oversight Section 6 (NAOS 6)
Performs the most difficult or sensitive work for the unit when necessary
Responsible for oversight and monitoring activities on behalf of the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to ensure county behavioral health delivery systems are in compliance with federal and state network adequacy standards
Conducts business and represents the Department in a professional and service-oriented manner
Establishes and builds rapport through open communication
Promotes teamwork and cross-functional collaboration in support of the Department’s strategic goals
Qualification
Required
Must meet the Minimum Requirements in the Class Specification for Supervisor I
Complete the supplemental application and the state application
Include a copy of your diploma/degree and/or unofficial/informal transcripts for verification if meeting minimum qualifications with education
Submit a Supplemental Application (SA) with specific information describing how skills, knowledge, abilities, education, training, and experience qualify for the position
Respond to the SA questions with specific examples of experience and skills
Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 or the Electronic State Employment Application
Resume is required and must be included
Preferred
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively in writing or verbally
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of software
Ability to both develop and review documents for spelling, grammar, formatting and consistency with established writing standards and formal writing style guides
