Vivvi is reimagining early childhood education and is seeking a Head Teacher for their 2s classroom in New York City. In this role, you will lead an inquiry-based environment, design curriculum, and foster children's growth while building relationships with families.

Responsibilities

Lead your classroom with creativity, warmth, and purpose
Design and implement inquiry-based curriculum that inspires discovery and supports developmental milestones
Foster children’s social, emotional, and academic growth through play, conversation, and connection
Build meaningful relationships with families and communicate regularly about progress and milestones
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-organized learning environment

Qualification

Early Childhood Certification3–5 years teaching experienceCPR/First Aid certificationPassion for working with childrenCommunication skillsCollaborative mindset

Required

3–5 years of experience as a lead or head teacher
Passion for working with young children and a belief that every child is capable, curious, and full of potential
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to NYC and possess independent U.S. work authorization
Physical demands of this position include but are not limited to sitting and standing for extended periods, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, and frequently moving or lifting children weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted

Preferred

Early Childhood Certification (N-6 or B-2) preferred, or willing to work toward certification via a study plan
