Responsibilities
Learn to use hand grinders to smooth and polish metal parts to a quality finish
Cross-train in basic fabrication skills, including:
Cutting metal to length using a tape measure
Operating brake presses
Spot welding
Buffing and preparing parts for paint
Assist other departments as needed, including assembly, painting, and packaging
Gain exposure to different areas of manufacturing to build a well‑rounded skillset
Qualification
Required
Mechanical aptitude (from work experience, school, or hands‑on hobbies)
Basic comfort using hand and power tools
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
Willingness to learn and take direction
Preferred
6+ months of manufacturing or shop experience
Shop class (welding, automotive, woodworking, or machine/tool experience)
