Business Development Director

Responsibilities
Utilizes extensive prospecting techniques to build and establish a self-generated pipeline. Resources such as cold calling, preferred partnerships, marketing campaigns and search platforms will be at your disposal
Ascertains NEW client relationships exclusively
Presents, negotiates and follows all new sales through contract execution and implementation – partnering with Cisive resources to support and ensure closure and acceptable implementation expectations
Maintains accurate records and client contact information within Salesforce.com, to ensure senior management has access to pipeline/forecasting data
Promotes a professional company image through prompt, thorough and courteous prospect interactions
Qualification
Required
BA/BS Degree Required
Experienced with sales cycles longer than 6 months in length required
Proven over-target attainment against established quotas in prior positions
Strong ability to build and leverage internal partnerships
Consultative solution selling experience
Strong negotiation skills
Strong motivational and presentation skills
Strong communications skills
