Inside Sales Representative III - IDP

Vytl Controls Group is seeking an Inside Sales Representative III who serves as a senior liaison between customers and the company. This role focuses on translating complex customer needs into proposals, providing solutions for multiple product lines, and facilitating quotations for parts and buy-out items.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of the company’s services, product lines, sales territories, product applications, and pricing structures
Understand and apply OEM relationships to the Customer Solutions Process
Review, process, and submit customer orders
Quoting products and assemblies
Quoting multiple product lines within the vertical
Verifying pricing
Sourcing materials
Collaborate with Account Managers, Operations, and Production Coordinators to address highly complex customer service issues
Build and maintain customer trust in the company as a quality, value-added solutions provider
Assist Inside Sales Representatives and Managers within the vertical and other vertical teams with similar duties and responsibilities
Mentor and train junior and intermediate sales representatives within the team
Lead special projects and initiatives to improve sales processes and customer satisfaction
Navigate complex capital projects

Qualification

Advanced knowledge of valvesAdvanced understanding of chemical marketsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft OfficeQuality standardizationCommunication skillsBasic mechanical aptitudeWork independently

Required

Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred, or equivalent technical school certification
At least 4-6 years of experience in a customer-facing role within the relevant industry
Proficiency in quality standardization procedures and computer systems
Completion of advanced computer-based technical training
Completion of applicable product type instructor-led technical training
Successful completion of advanced customer experience training
Successful completion of shop orientation hours for assigned product vertical
Successful completion of the level III assessments for the assigned product vertical
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of valves and related products
Advanced understanding of the chemical, refining, and power markets
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
Clear background check and drug/alcohol screening
Lifting up to 25 pounds
Bending, stooping, ability to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines
