Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical assembly operations according to work instructions, process sheets, and SOPs
Assemble electromechanical components using hand tools and power tools
Read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and basic blueprints
Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications
Safely operate machinery and equipment used in the assembly process
Accurately record production data, material usage, and scrap amounts
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations in compliance with safety requirements
Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to meet production goals
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements (eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection)
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying issues and driving resolution
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines, and visually inspect parts
Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in completing work assignments
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on an intermittent basis
Ability to perform frequent lifting, standing, bending, and reaching
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
Must adhere to all PPE and safety requirements

Preferred

Technical secondary education preferred
Basic computer skills with accurate data entry experience
Ability to perform simple math for interpreting process sheets, SOPs, tally sheets, and tracking materials
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams preferred
Proficient use of hand tools and power tools
Good hand dexterity and grip strength
Strong collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment
Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving ability
Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task effectively
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
High personal integrity and ethical standards
