Finance Department Assistant
Complete Care Community Health Center has been dedicated to providing quality healthcare services to underserved communities since 2007. Responsibilities
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately using designated financial software
Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation for audit purposes
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements under supervision
Support the reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of financial data and compliance with organizational policies
Help monitor budget expenditures and flag discrepancies for review
Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence related to finance activities
Process and record invoices, expense reports, and receipts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
Perform bank and account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
Enter and update financial data in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
Help prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and budgets
Assist with payroll processing, tax payments, and employee reimbursements
Maintain organized digital and physical financial records and files
Handle internal and external financial inquiries, providing support to clients and vendors
Support internal and external audits by gathering necessary documentation
Provide general administrative support to the Finance Manager and team
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a finance, accounting, or similar role
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills
Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
Perform bank and account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
Enter and update financial data in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
Help prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and budgets

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
Prior experience or familiarity with financial software is highly desirable
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or certifications in finance or accounting are a plus
