Responsibilities
Set up and remove yarn from creels at, below, and above shoulder height
Read and interpret textile patterns and specifications
Operate the Hacoba Dresser and Suzuki Sample Dresser
Beam warps upon completion of dressing process
Inspect work for quality and accuracy throughout the process
Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned to support mill operations
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Two (2) or more years of production or manufacturing experience is desired
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 5 pounds frequently
Ability to push wheeled yarn carts weighing approximately 50–400 pounds
Frequent use of hands and fingers to manipulate yarn
Ability to remove and replace pressure bars
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
Ability to use a step ladder to access higher sections of the yarn creel
Ability to reach and extend arms while dressing a warp
Preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role
