Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives from end-to-end, including market research, Request for Proposal RFP development, Business Partner negotiations, and contract execution
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop sourcing strategies that drive innovation, mitigate risk, and maximize value
Conduct robust financial and scenario modeling to evaluate proposals, assess total cost of ownership, and support innovative sourcing solutions
Partner with Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Operational teams to ensure alignment across all commercial and contractual aspects of Business Partner agreements
Monitor Business Partner performance and support continuous improvement efforts through regular reviews and partnership with internal business units and JetBlue Contract Management Lifecycle office
Identify and champion opportunities for process optimization and cost transformation across categories
Support the development and execution of multi-year sourcing roadmaps aligned with JetBlue’s strategic and operational priorities
Stay current on industry trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies to inform sourcing strategies and Business Partner selections
Prepare and present clear, data-driven recommendations and business cases to leadership for sourcing decisions
Foster strong relationships with key Business Partners and internal partners to enable innovation, solve challenges collaboratively, and ensure business continuity

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
Two (2) years of strategic sourcing, supplier, service management or equivalent experience
Proficient with MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
Proficient with reporting tools and the ability to construct ad Hoc reporting based on-demand requests
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven ability to build relationships both internally and externally
Proficient in financial, quantitative, and analytical skills
Able to interpret and communicate complex Statements of Work (SOW) as well as Master Service Agreements (MSA), Amendments, and various other contractual documents
Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
