Responsibilities
Compile and analyze complex reimbursement data to support management decision-making and internal/external reporting
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of net revenue for assigned subsidiaries
Prepare and review schedules supporting Medicare, Medicaid, and Blue Cross cost report submissions in compliance with regulations
Analyze year-over-year third-party cost report changes and investigate variances
Prepare monthly contractual models and analyze contractual allowances, recommending updates to assumptions and methodologies
Perform monthly reserve analysis and report changes in reserve positions
Provide projections and analytical support for annual budgeted net revenue
Research third-party reimbursement regulations and summarize financial impacts of regulatory or assumption changes
Coordinate data collection and schedule preparation for third-party audits, settlements, and cash reconciliations
Support strategic financial planning related to reimbursement activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a progressively responsible reimbursement or finance role (required)
Net Revenue and/or Cost Reporting experience (required)
Preferred
Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
Home Health and/or Physician Group experience (preferred)
Kodiak RCA (formerly Crowe) experience (preferred)
MBA or CPA (preferred)
Progressive management experience (preferred)
