Director/ExecutiveSangoma, a pioneer in business communications solutions, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure/Dev Ops Sr. Director to join our team. This role involves leading global teams responsible for architecting, operating, automating, and securing the company’s hybrid infrastructure platforms and CI/CD ecosystem.

Responsibilities
Define and evolve Sangoma’s hybrid‑cloud infrastructure and DevOps strategy across on‑prem datacenters and Amazon Cloud Environment and drive a disciplined approach to determining and directing workload placement
Lead technology roadmap for all associated technologies, such as Cisco UCS compute, NetApp storage, VMware, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, etc
Partner with engineering, product management, networking, security and support teams to enable various telecommunication UCaaS and CCaaS platforms
Drive CI/CD automation, configuration management, instrumentation, and performance optimization
Ensure 24/7 reliability, high availability, lifecycle management, and operational governance
Understand and manage various costs of on prem and cloud environments i.e. support sourcing, renewal, savings and negotiations of contracts
Oversee modernization initiatives, cloud migrations, security hardening, and continuous improvement
Serve as a hands‑on technical leader able to review designs, pipelines, IaC, debugging, and complex escalations
Mentor global infrastructure, DevOps, cloud, networking, and engineering teams while fostering transparency and accountability
Qualification
Required
Experience in leading global teams responsible for architecting, operating, automating, and securing hybrid infrastructure platforms and CI/CD ecosystem
Hands-on technical leadership experience in infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, platform engineering, automation, and reliability
Ability to define and evolve hybrid-cloud infrastructure and DevOps strategy across on-prem datacenters and Amazon Cloud Environment
Experience with technologies such as Cisco UCS compute, NetApp storage, VMware, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible
Experience in partnering with engineering, product management, networking, security, and support teams
Experience in driving CI/CD automation, configuration management, instrumentation, and performance optimization
Ability to ensure 24/7 reliability, high availability, lifecycle management, and operational governance
Understanding and management of costs of on-prem and cloud environments including support sourcing, renewal, savings, and negotiations of contracts
Experience overseeing modernization initiatives, cloud migrations, security hardening, and continuous improvement
Ability to serve as a hands-on technical leader able to review designs, pipelines, IaC, debugging, and complex escalations
Experience mentoring global infrastructure, DevOps, cloud, networking, and engineering teams while fostering transparency and accountability
