The role involves preparing financial statements, managing general ledger accounts, and collaborating with property management teams to ensure accurate financial performance and reporting.

Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties
Record journal entries, including accruals, amortization, and depreciation
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and balance sheet schedules
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tenant billings
Manage cash activity, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring
Assist with annual budgets and periodic reforecasting
Prepare CAM and other year‑end reconciliation packages
Ensure accurate invoice coding, documentation, and audit trail
Support external audits and provide requested financial schedules
Collaborate with property management teams regarding financial performance, tenant activity, and operational needs
Participate in special projects and process improvements as assigned
Qualification
Required
2+ of accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting processes
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
real estate/property accounting experience a plus
Experience with property management accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar) is beneficial
