Responsibilities

Obtaining radiographic images
Operating equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established protocols
Collaborating with Surgery, X-Ray and MRI

Qualification

Licensed Radiologic TechnologistRadiographer certificationMRI certificationBCLS certificationRadiology equipment proficiencyRadiographic techniques knowledgeInterpersonal skillsCommunication skillsAttention to detailOrganizational skills

Required

1-2 years of clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program
Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state
(R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer
MRI certification or eligibility to obtain within six (6) months of hire
BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire
Proficiency in operating and maintaining radiology equipment
Knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and positioning
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Understanding of radiation safety and infection control protocols
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate imaging and documentation

Preferred

2-4 years of experience including Surgery and MRI in an acute care hospital setting
