MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Brunner & Lay Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with strong CNC machining experience committed to continuous process improvement. The role involves developing manufacturing processes for new product development, troubleshooting processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing processes while maintaining compliance to design specifications
Where necessary, will include development and programming of equipment automation such as the creation of CNC code, tool path simulation, data acquisition, software, or similar manufacturing equipment control and/or automation systems
Help activities related to Continuous Improvements, Root Cause Analysis, and cost reductions/process improvements
Work flow/cell design with a focus on waste reduction and process improvement
Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Manufacturing Engineering experience
Ability to develop manufacturing processes
Continuous process improvement experience
Blueprint reading abilities
Communication skills verbal and written
Some manufacturing Engineering experience
Hands on troubleshooting and problem solving
Excellent technical, written, and oral communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred
CNC machining experience including programming
Hands on use of mills and lathes
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
