Responsibilities
Perform mail handling, scanning, filing, and routing of documents (both physical and electronic), supporting both in-office and remote workflows, and ensuring information is properly documented and accessible
Monitor and maintain data accuracy and compliance within Team Connect and other legal systems
Make basic decisions within established procedures, escalate issues as appropriate, and demonstrate a willingness to ask questions, seek guidance, and learn from feedback
Work effectively within a large, collaborative legal team and contribute positively to shared goals. May assist with training others on immediate work group functions
This role requires in-office attendance 3–4 days per week at the Merchandise Mart office in Chicago, IL to support mail processing, collaboration, and other in-person responsibilities

Required
Candidates with transferable skills and a strong interest in legal administrative work are encouraged to apply
Exceptionally organized and task-oriented, with strong attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
Proficient in Microsoft Office and open to learning new legal systems
