Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices for payment, ensuring proper coding and approvals
Post tenant receipts and reconcile accounts receivable
Record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Close books timely each month, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and reviewed
Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP within the required timeframe to ensure deadlines are met
Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports for internal and external use
Communicate and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors, and other vendor communications
Other duties and projects as assigned
Adheres to the policies and procedures of Full Sail University
Maintains strict confidentiality of company and personnel information
Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization
Adheres to company attendance standards
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3 - 5 years of experience in accounting
Associate or bachelor's degree in business or accounting an advantage
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comprehensive understanding of accounting practices, procedures, and GAAP
Ability to efficiently and effectively multitask, managing multiple projects and deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Significant experience with ERP systems
Preferred
Property management accounting experience
