Responsibilities

Collaborate with reservoir engineering and analyst teams to understand and transform analytical workflows and models

Refactor, productionize, and maintain Python code for improved maintainability and reliability

Develop and deploy automated solutions using Databricks, integrating with Spotfire dashboards for data visualization

Implement best practices for version control (Git/GitHub), testing (unit tests), and documentation

Build and maintain ETL data pipelines and cloud-based workflows

Ensure data security and compliance with company standards and policies

Interpret, refactor, and optimize code authored by reservoir engineers for production-readiness

Apply advanced Python skills, including object-oriented programming & data manipulation

Utilize Databricks (PySpark, SQL) and Spotfire for data engineering and visualization tasks

Work on-site in Spring, TX, for a 12+ month contract (local candidates only)

Preferred: Experience with Azure cloud environments and performance tuning of analytical models
