Sales Manager - Accountant Channel
Cirrus Payroll is an independent, remote-first payroll service company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, dedicated to providing exceptional payroll services to small businesses. The Sales Manager - Accountant Channel will focus on building and nurturing relationships with accountants and bookkeeping partners to enhance the referral network and drive revenue through a relationship-based sales approach.

Responsibilities
Build and nurture long-term referral partner relationships with accountants, bookkeepers, and other trusted advisors
Research and develop targeted lists of high-fit CPA firms and conduct light outbound outreach
Manage the full referral lifecycle - take all referral calls and inbound sales calls, qualify prospects, and move them seamlessly into implementation
Execute our partner outreach strategy, including gifting, quarterly touchpoints, personalized follow-ups, and regular communication
Collaborate with leadership to provide feedback on messaging, partner experience, and referral barriers
Support partner-focused content efforts (educational outreach, simple nurture emails, personalized resources)
Attend select industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities
Record sales calls and maintain accurate notes
Maintain detailed tracking of partner activity and performance metrics in the CRM
Deliver a consistent, high-quality partner experience that reinforces Cirrus’ reputation for responsiveness and accuracy
Qualification
Required
1+ years in business development, or channel/partner/relationship management
2+ years in payroll, accounting, financial services, or payroll software competitors
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
Process-driven, detail-oriented, and highly organized
Comfortable using CRM tools
Ability to travel periodically (industry events, partner visits)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Familiarity with Payroll Relief software is a strong plus (but not required)
