Responsibilities

Develop Data Governance and AI Strategy to support digital transformation and AI adoption
Assess organization-wide data maturity and create actionable roadmaps for advancement
Integrate Responsible AI principles, foster an innovative culture, and curate AI innovations
Design and implement AI Governance Risk Assessment processes
Identify and coordinate people, processes, and technologies for AI solution delivery
Lead Data Governance initiatives from discovery through execution and knowledge capture
Collaborate with technical groups to align Data & AI strategy with agency priorities
Analyze complex problems, deliver value-driven solutions, and manage stakeholder relationships for optimal project outcomes
Plan and assign project work, facilitate working groups, and drive business process improvements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data/Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
5+ years of experience in engineering, design, or construction with relevant industry expertise
3+ years leading AI strategy and implementing AI initiatives in large organizations
2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI/storage platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking abilities
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Self-motivation, strong time management, and adaptability to shifting priorities
U.S. work authorization required
Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance (i.e. must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident who has resided in the US for the past three years consecutively)

Preferred

Experience with other AI platforms is a plus
